So, anyone taking that advice then would have risked for 40 years a burglary or druggie kids stealing their collection. I simply believe this is too high of a risk to take versus the very theoretical possibility that the government, for way less than 1% of the national debt, decides to simply steal millions of Americans personal possessions. Washington is smarter than that. They know they simply can raise tax rates to steal from us, they do not need to steal grandma&#039;s jewelry.
