This is actually a post to a previous thread.

PBS/WNET has a long-running series, Secrets of the Dead, that features episodes that you might find interesting to view, especially now with many confined to home.

Here's a partial listing of previous programs. Some of these link will expire in a month or so.

Thanks for the links. I'm unable to wacht these on pbs. Something with rights and region. I can watch the first nero episode however via dailymotion.com. (At least, I think it's the same.) Perhaps the other ones as well, I don't know.

Just finished watching the episode on Cleopatra. Fascinating and much disappointed that it ended where it did. Looking forward to a follow-up.

    Thank you lots for this.
Is the one on King Arthur's kingdom the one about the recent excavations at Tintagel Castle? That one was absolutely fascinating --put a completely different cultural spin on the early phases of Anglo-Saxon settlement, and the amazing sophistication of the Britons around Cornwall.

"Gangsters Gold" is available on on-line and also this month on various PBS stations. Check your local listings.

Looks like old gangster Dutch Schultze may have hidden $50 MM in gold coins (Saint-Gaudens !!!??) and Gold Certificates in Upstate NY.

    Now that's a hoard I would pay up to own ! :D
