My first box of dimes, 2 silver roosies and two mercury dimes. Got box worth of pennies including mostly rolls someone brought in that were all 95% copper with several wheats earliest 1929. I didn't want that much copper so kept BU coins and 60s memorials.

    That's a great box of dimes, buddy16cat!

    Today's results:
    $7.50 loose halves: nothing
    $70 re-wrapped BWR halves: nothing
$215 BWR dimes: one silver Roosie (a blindingly bright 1960)
$70 CWR dimes: one silver Roosie, two pennies (both 1989 D), two UK 5p (both 1990)

And yes, it's a commemorative half, Merc Crazy. But which one?????

3 boxes of halves - skunk. There were a ton of 2006 NIFCs. Now that half collection is complete we might take a break from halves and concentrate on nickels for a bit. It will depend on what we find this week.

Stone Mtn, if I'd guess. Maybe a Columbian, they had by far the highest mintage. Booker T's are up there too.

Another decent week, I was surprised to find 5 40%ers in my halves box so I was really pumped to get another, but my bank forgot to order this week. Hopefully I can get back up to 2 boxes a week again next week. I cleaned off the magnet at one of my dump banks so that's where a lot of my foreign came from, but it was a zany week for foreign again.

Total silver found this week: 2.2465 ozt

Was dumping some rolls this morning. The one teller tells the teller I'm at that the magnet does not work to check for Canadian coins (no coin counters in my area). Then she tells me about how she ended up with a bunch of Canadian quarters the other day. I tell her that the old ones aren't magnetic and ask her what she did with them. She said she put them in the trash. What. She said they were old and I told here they were probably silver. Maybe they were, maybe not, I guess we'll never know.

BTW, $12 in loose halves... nothing.

$78 IKES - Not sure what to look for and If I'd even be able to tell a T2 or FEV. I'll take a close look at them later.

Can a T2 be resold for a profit to buy more silver? If I can turn Ike's into more silver I'd be a happy man.
