As if my 20 year old coin hoard wasn’t enough, I’ve been getting rolls of dollars; trying to get all of the Native American and Presidential dollar coins for my grandkids. In doing so, I’ve come across a few that have an extra incused circle(s) and one that the stars are not fully incused. Looking online at Error-Ref.com, I’m not able to find anything pertaining to these particular finds. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. #1: 2007D, George Washington Presidential Dollar #2: 2007P George Washington Presidential Dollar #3: 2009P Native American Dollar
Hi Imho, not sure on these errors or varieties but I did find one site that has some information on these coins. https://presidentialdollarguide.com/presidential-dollar-error-coins/
Awhile back I created a post on minting process it has links on some websites if you want to check it out https://www.cointalk.com/threads/mi...rors-and-varieties-occur.337595/#post-3494337
Thank you very much R_Rabbit! I’ve actually came across that article last week...I thought I had quite a few “error coins” when the writing was “upside down” to the obverse. Boy was I upset when I learned that it was a 50/50 deal! I appreciate you & your opinion(s)!
You’re awesome! Thank you! Just unwrapped 2 rolls of dollars to look at my GW’s...none had the variety listed
