The Saratoga puck sales have been very strong. The bullion version sold out fast. And the collector version logged sales of over 17,000 its first week. For comparison, initial sales for other 2015-Ps (from coinnews net): Homestead 16,215 Kisatchie 15,622 Blue Ridge 15,295 Bombay Hook 14,433
Tell me about it. I was gonna get 4 but at the last minute only got 2 on a wait and see approach to getting more. Boy am I regrettin that but oh well at least I got 2... I'm a glass half full type of guy
As a New Yorker, I'm glad the Saratoga puck is a big hit. Who can't like the fact that Benedict Arnold saved the day for our young nation? If he had stopped after that one, it is no telling where he would be in history books today.
Guys, there is speculation that they will kill bombay when it gets close to 17.5K +/- like BRP and Saratoga making the latter part of the year in the very low relative mintage category. Seems like they want to clean house for all the 2016 craziness they're up to right now. I don't see a downside and don't want to be caught off guard with Xmas sales and a mint that is being tricky lately so you might wanna buy now if you're thinking about it and tonight if want free shipping as its the last day for it.
It does appear that the Saratoga has sold out. I no longer see it on sale on the mint website. Folks are already asking over $200 for it on the bay. As another note, the Acadia seems to be fetching prices near the Hawaii over the past couple of weeks. Here are the latest numbers. Mintage versus Market Value
Saratoga P pucks are now AVAILABLE... Better hurry up and buy a few if you missed out on the quick "sellout". Even if they minted the full 2.5k remaining I think they'll go QUICK... Less and it will be gone again in very quick order imo. Just an FYI for those that missed out
Only 49 saratoga P's left... going like hotcakes and won't last much longer!.. Guess this isn't the 2.5k remainder
@medjoy Are you saying AP's are placing orders with the mint for the bullion version again?... How can that be unless it was an original big dealer order that fell through which caused that inventory to be available because they've sold the 45k bullion and 17k P's already so that leaves 3k. Did they make just 3k bullion to sell to the AP's? Seems this mornings P offering only lasted 2hrs estimating around 200 pieces sold. Could that have been an original big dealer P order that fell through?
The mint website is showing that it is currently unavailable although I wouldn't count out a sellout.
