Thanks paddyman. I've changed it in my spreadsheet. The next update will have the correct spelling. As an update, I've got notice that my Homestead puck has shipped.

I like a good number of the pucks quite a bit, but I must say the Homestead issue is very aptly named, as the design is very "homely".

I remember someone saying it looked a bit like a wheat cent, and I can see the resemblance.

The latest update includes the Homestead puck. The mint is also showing the sellout of the Shenandoah and Arches pucks (hopefully not a ruse this time). It seems to have increased the market value of the Arches but has had little effect to date on the Shenandoah. Some of the pucks are getting wildly different values on ebay. It does make it a little different to judge market value.

under treehugger theorem #1 you would definitely know not to take any speculating advice from me whatsoever, as I seem to be kindred spirit with Mr. Hugger

Just a thought, but, if you ever have the time, it would be interesting to see all this data for raw, sp69 & sp70.

Since they dropped the subscription discount, I waited to order Kisatchie and Homestead together. At least I got a bit of a discount by paying only one shipping...

Got my Kisatchie today. Very disappointed in the mint quality control. This is BY FAR the worst I've ever received. Milk spots spots and "dings" all over this thing!! Sending back to try my luck again. At this pricing, with $16.50 silver, I'd expect the mint to send a halfway decent product!

My order of 2 Kisatchie and 2 Homestead arrived today. All four looked perfect, so I escaped whatever quality issues @Broncoholic experienced.

Anyone know what the combined maximum mintage is for the P and the bullion, 60k or 65k or.....?

  17. I believe it is 65K. However, I think they can produce the bullion version to demand.

  18. statequarterguy

    statequarterguy Love Pucks

Thanks. That's what they said on another blog. If they produce the bullion to demand, that leaves fewer for the P's. I think Kisatchie bullion is at 42k, so 23k or less for the P's.

  19. PeacePeople

PeacePeople Wall St and stocks, where it's at

It's not combined, the P's have a max of 65k and the bullion are minted to demand.

I've added the Kisatchie puck to the mix. With the dip in silver prices over the past couple of years, the 2010 and 2011 pucks continue to slowly bleed value. With a mintage of 30,000 and a high sales price versus bullion value, interest has dampened sales of the last four pucks. I doubt they will sell out without some help from the bullion market.

  21. I am surprised Chickasaw is not selling at a higher premium given lower mintage. TC
