Is that from the US Mint?
It says “official commemorative”.

 

I don't think so. It's in a huge and heavy binder (part of a hand-me-down collection) with many other medals commemorating different events from various countries.

just to clarify this so no one is fooled it's a Moonlight Mint creation over struck on a American Silver Eagle

I wish the would do the Gobrecht dollar with NO stars on both sides

 

I really like that one. Nice.

 

I wish they would do all of them in 1oz coins like they did with the Peace Dollar. I have a few more 2oz ones to get. I think the dime is the only other one in a 1oz.

I picked up 10 of these 10th Anniversary JM Bullion rounds last week when they were selling them for $1.29/ozt over spot.

That is the lowest premium I have seen in a long time.

I just wish they didn’t look like an advertisement with the phone number xD.

But hey silver is silver right?

Actually I’m surprised how small they are. They are 1 oz and I weighed them and they weighed 31.36 grams but they are way smaller than an American Silver Eagle and not much thicker.
