Scottsdale stackers. All weights apparently stack up neatly. I have some me on their way to me (1,2,5oz). Look good eh?

They look like the new 5 ounce stackers Scottsdale released.

I bought (2) 100 gram Scottsdale silver bars last night off Ebay. pics when they get here. I will start slowly silver stacking. maybe 1 100 gram bar every paycheck that is not rent check. :greedy::)

Why did you choose 100 gram bars to stack? When I've looked at them the premium seems a bit higher than other sizes (1 oz and 5 oz).

it's a visual thing. my goal is to get 100 of these and make a custom modern wood treasure chest for hoarding them and a long term savings plan. I might change my mind and stack the new Scottsdale 5 oz'ers they look cool and stack on top of each other.

Cool! Sounds like a good plan. I kinda like the stackable KILO bars Apmex has. : )

1780 dated Austrian Thaler restrike. I believe very modern but I'm going to try to determine for sure (they've been minting these on and off for more than 200 years!).

I like the 5 ounce Libertad. I have to pick one of those up someday.

I think the 100 gram bars are 3.2 oz's ? I think that is why they have a little premium on them ? I got 2 of them in my mailbox today. pics later today. these bars have some weight to them and I love the look of them. nothing like having them in your hands. something about that lion head with crown. yup I am addicted to them now. just bid on 3 more of them on Ebay. lol pics when I get them. :)

$2 face of junk silver for $14.90x (I get to cherrypick, which accounts for the extra premium)

They look nice now - but how are you going to keep them nice and shiny?

not sure ? I have a vision of making or having someone make me a custom wooden chest to keep 100 of these 100 grams bars. it's a long term goal. bidding on a coin of my dreams now... more on that tomorrow if I win the auction..

I made a box in anticipation of buying loads of cheap US silver bars. Well actually I bought a cheap wooden box blank and added a tray to it from ebay. Probably far more trouble than it was worth.
