As co-workers find 90% silver, I buy it. I don't think I've ever gone looking to buy junk, but I do enjoy it when they bring it to me!
I have a few more coming in the mail, but here's what my stack has grown to so far. I'm really enjoying the shipwrecked silver lately. Not pictured are my U.S. pre-1965 coins. I just realized how much some of these are going for on feebay even though silver has gone down in price since I bought them. I can't resist the opportunity, and this is going to be my first time selling silver. It's with mixed emotions, though I'll probably just use the extra $$ to buy even more.
What's with the "L" in Elizabeth in that Isle of Man coin? ...and the similarities between the Morgue Ann and Queen Elizabeth are striking. Put a hat on the Queen and shed a few pounds from those chubby cheeks and they'd be identical.
I am really not sure since my eyes are not that good and I haven't bought a magnifier yet but I think it's just a scratch but something about it just doesn't seem right. I have vacation time in two days so I'll have plenty of time to feed my coin addiction and get it checked out. Either way I'm still happy with it. I didn't pay very much and in addition to a nice design it's main purpose is wealth preservation. I wanted a couple more but they already sold out and I'm weary about going to a site I haven't already bought from. On a lighter note I wouldn't mind seeing some world zombucks. The Morgue Ann looks great and I'm excited for the Murk Diem coming out later. It would be cool to see Elizabeth zombiefied along with some walking dead koalas and britannias.
