two new additions...

 

I picked up a couple of interesting privately minted 999 Silver Bullion Rounds from Germany off ebay & it wasn't until I received them that I realized that one of them actually has the PAMP logo on along with another Assay mark that I haven't been able to find out any information about...any help would be much appreciated.

That's a pic of the side with the PAMP logo (look closely at the lower right)

This is about 3/4 of my silver... always working toward acquiring a little more though. In this picture there are about 120 war nickels, one Morgan, a 64 Kennedy, 12 Walking Liberties, 9 Silver Proof Kennedy Halves (in air-tites), 5 Barber Dimes, 1 Merc, 3 Rosies, and 6 pre 1964 Washington Quarters.

the are 50% silver, mostly half crowns from 1945 in UNC......

 

those are nice coins! mind if i ask how you found a stash like that? collected a few at a time or were they someone's hoard? and are they worth more than melt? just curious...

 

Where I got them is not really a question one asks lol. Nice try.

There were about five boxes with over 100 coins in each and similar grades at an auction with a large bullion presence. The 1945 Half Crowns will sell at about £10-14 each is they are as good in the hand as they look. All came at once.

 

sorry, didnt mean to imply exactly where you got them, was just curious as to how you got them, i've never done auctions except for ebay so that never came to mind,

 

I almost never buy off e-bay......but I scan auction houses and portals that group auction houses together.....I had not seen this in advance so was bit of an impulse buy. There were several of these tubs all with similar grade and same dates which leads me to believe they were broken out unc......or that a silver investor thought that silver would be sky high and when it wasn't dumped them. The auction also had large groups of pre 1920 silver bullion but pretty badly worn grades.

 

Drooling over the pattern on the 91 and 96!
