At last... Year of the Rabbit - 2011 All these coins have on the other side the Good Old Queen Elizabeth All photos from the series "Austrialia Lunar Calendar" are from my collection, except for Queen Elizabeth (from web). petronius :smile
This is just 1/4 oz Onza but the mintage is what makes it worth more than the 1oz. the 1/2+1/4 oz for 2010 mintage was around 5000.
hey thanks i like it too..1881s pcgs ms65 bought it on here actually.. tried selling it when i was in a rough patch.. it never sold and i am quite happy that it didn't.. only "nicely toned" coin i own..
I was going to trade these for some low premium silver, but decided to keep them a while longer. Right now the interest in kooks is low, but that'll change soon enough. Sadly the capsule on the 2007 and 2010 are cracked and that's not a real good thing...any good advice on how to get rid of the tone? (yes the pics suck, I took them late at night with fluorescent lights after several barley pops)
Get rid of the tone? Easy, give them a quick dip. It has worked for decades. Then put them in an airtight holder. OTOH, maybe just go to the dealer and see if you can exchange them. Might be cheaper than buying dip, and maybe someone else will like the toning.
I had the good fortune to pick up this 2006 Proof for $40 today. It also happens to be graded PF69 by NGC.
picked up some more silver yesterday for under melt.. everything for 100 bucks 7 mercs 37 rosies 1 standing lib 1 washingon 1 1912 canadian 1 WL
Picked-up a 2010 Yellowstone ATB 5 oz puck today. No government packaging but did get it for spot +$1.25. Cost me $150 and it is beautiful. I had thought these were carrying a bigger premium.
LCS in Peoria, IL. All of their generic silver is spot+$1.25. That includes Silvertowne bars in 1,5,10. They have an Englehard 79oz old pour bar that would be the same. Out of my budget though.
