Today, I went to various coin shops in my area to go silver art bar hunting. I found and bought this silver art bar at one of the area coin shops that I went to. Here is what it looks like: It is a "Lovemans" silver art bar. It was minted in 1975 by the World Wide Mint. I paid spot silver price for it at one of the local area coin shops that I went to today. The spot silver price was $36.35 at the time that I bought this bar (spot ended up finishing today at $36.44/oz).
Grand Canyon "P" I think the Grand Canyon may end up being one of the top 3 most popular. Just an iPhone pic, but it's not bad. Chuck
Top 3 - most popular - that why you posted THREE pictures of the same side? LOL Thanks for the photo. PS I only have ONE photo of this side. :>)
All 56 of these pucks are going to be the same on one side. These are just iPhone pics. Some look better depending on where the lighting is coming.
With the help of my ebay bucks certificate, I bought this silver art bar on ebay this past Tuesday for $33.90............... I got it in the mail today and I took the above two pictures of it. It is a "Lovable Pandas" silver art bar that was minted in 1973 by International Silver Ingot Co.
:thumb: The restore train on this bar goes by my home in HSV AL each late Sept-mid Oct/fall when the leave are changing. blow out a big old white cloud.A $150.00 will get you a ticket.
I was rummaging through a dealer's generic rounds at a coin show today picked up one of these: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330588736183+&clk_rvr_id=248021318639&item=330588736183 I was hoping it might be an actual Panda, but it looks like it's not the official one. I picked it up on the off chance it might be worth more than that, but the price was good enough that I won't be bummed out if that's not the case. Does anybody know anything about it, or if it may have any value beyond generic?
Here's that one and a couple others I grabbed today, including my first (and probably only to be) graded coin.
I have several ASEs, like most do on this thread, but I haven't seen one like this posted yet. It's selectively gold plated, and I know that sort of practice is probably frowned upon, but back in 2000, I thought it looked awesome so I bought it.
I've seen these, unlike the painted ones, I actually like the look of these ones with the gold plating on the raised images, despite the fact that they may upset the 'purists'.
Dang. Guess Glenn got it all wrong....... "You leave the Pennsylvania Station 'bout a quarter to four Read a magazine and then you're in Baltimore Dinner in the diner Nothing could be finer Then to have your ham an' eggs in Carolina When you hear the whistle blowin' eight to the bar Then you know that Tennessee is not very far Shovel all the coal in Gotta keep it rollin' Woo, woo, Chattanooga there you are " Read more: http://artists.letssingit.com/glenn-miller-lyrics-chattanooga-choo-choo-stzdjpv#ixzz1SPmNE7TB LetsSingIt - Your favorite Music Community
i recently got one of those gold plated ones and a few painted eagles. my wife likes the colored eagles better than the "normal" eagles because she said they look "pretty". I just buy them so she won't complain about my other coin purchases
