I love those poured 10oz JM bars! I'll post my Engelhard here as soon as I am able. :)

One thing that i,am finding out now is that the poured 10 OZ bars are different
sizes, yes there all 10 OZ by weight but the dimensions are really different, heres what iam talking about.

Garlicus Debt is dumb, cash is king.

The poured bars are cool, and all, but are they worth the extra premium? They appear to be going for about $1 more per ounce than ASEs.
Not knocking them, just inquiring. I would assume that there is a smaller market of people willing to pay the extra premium for them.

That,s an excellent question, from strictly an investment point of view it,s not just
Generic bullion, so you dont just pay your couple dollars over spot and move on
Johnson Matthey and Engelhard bars are highly valued both in bright and shiny
and poured with populations on the lower side of the fence, but any premium that
you pay will be easily recoverable as the populations again are low and many people
Collect these, just depends on your individual investing requirements are ?

These older bars definitely have a numismatic value. They can go for multiples of their metal value.

I like the unique nature of poured, every bar is the same but different :)

Very true. Even the newer poured bars have character.

I don't know the history behind this one. It looks like it could be recovered & recycled industrial or other scrap silver. Does anyone recognize the markings?

As long as I was diving down to the shipwreck storage area to take a picture of the Engelhard bar I figured I'd fill up the picture with some USVI & A Mark bars.

Serious collectors will pay a premium, :greedy:

If your buying generic silver, rounds, bars and such your looking at melt, however
Many so called Art bars demand significant premiums because of what they are
    or represent.
