I'm including this piece because I bought it as a silver round out of a just-purchased collection from a LCS. This was still in the album along with quite a few other interesting pieces. I bought what I could at the time (cash reserves were pretty low) and sold most of them on eBay, but this one was so interesting (all the lines in the image are raised die polish marks) I had to keep it. Interestingly enough, I was not the first person to purchase out of that album - so the collector in me REALLY wonders what was in there to begin with that had already been sold (at silver melt.) 1933 World's Fair Colorado So Called Dollar HK-870 Another part of my purchase that day that I thought was interesting enough to keep: Kim Taylor Reece "Kika Eleke" Silver Proof Round And one more from that purchase that I thought had good enough color (plus I really like the Standing Liberty Design) to warrant adding to my collection: I have one more at home from that purchase that I'll add here (it isn't already imaged, but it's worth sharing.) Placeholder One year during fireworks season, I visited a local pawn shop and picked up four Peru, IL Sesquicentennial Silver Rounds, all interestingly toned. This is the one I kept:
Can't seem to remember where I put the silver ones so you will have to accept the coppers , but I bought all 5 (including the 2018 silver morgana) at the same time. 3 silver 2 coppers
How about a few unusual ones... Churchill's birthplace, 2 oz Bills Limited Edition 1994 Apollo 11 Congress Seeks Support, 14 grams America's Cup 1970 Kookaburras
Sort of a round. Not sure it's the coolest I have, but in the picture gallery it was readily available.
Purchased by my departed brother in 1982 from the infamous Conrad Braun, US Gold Corp, Kansas City I also have the 1 oz platinum The 1/2 oz gold is my avatar
