    Q beat me to the punch on the announcement but my first thought after tallying the final score this morning is WOW! I don't quite know what to say about that amazing contest... talk about a photo finish!

    Results:

    SILVER MEDALIST @Cucumbor: 86
    BRONZE MEDALIST @Ancient Aussie: 85

    AA's beautiful and rare tridrachm scored big on eye appeal and Q's amazing family story could not be challenged on value! Both coiners showcased their coin's amazing history with unparalleled write ups but in the end a slight advantage on the interest category decided this one in favor of the venerable Q!

    Thanks for playing you guys and thanks to everyone else for voting. I haven't tallied the total but I suspect this is a voting participation record!

    Make sure to check out the championship match and be on the lookout for our tournament triumph which should be a very fun time :)

    Congratulations Cucumbor, that was one fantastic coin and family history related to it. Also a special big thanks to Curtisimo for making my amature photoe's more presentible for this contest he is a real whizz in that field, and also I am sure I and all the other fellow contestants and participants are very grateful for you making this tournament possible and all the work you are putting into it. :D

    What a brilliant matchup and an incredible photo finish! Congrats to Q and Ancient Aussie as well. Those were two incredible coins with great stories and histories to go along with them!
