So I have been looking to increase my position on platinum recently. I was recently in my a couple of local shops and they had 1oz PAMP bars spot +$80, 1/2 eagles spot+$100 1oz eagles spot +$300. I have always leaned towards eagles in my bullion and that would be my first thought would be to buy the 1/2 oz eagles but what on platinum eagles on resale are they bought at spot or spot minus some amount?

If I wanted to own paper platinum what are some good options?

I have a good amount of platinum, your
best bet Is to buy generic i prefer bars
myself but that means a minimum 1OZ
investment, with coins you can buy
fractionals but that will cost you more in
    the long run.

Are you talking about futures ?

Here is something I've seen referenced and it includes the dealer to dealer buy prices for various bullion.

    https://trading.upstatecoins.com/wp-content/uploads/dealer.pdf

As of today, that dealer is paying $95 over spot on 1 oz Platinum eagles, $150 over on fractional, and $18 over on bars.

In my area, the best I've seen has been $25-$50 over when there is demand. Often they will pay spot. Some local dealers pay less than spot (especially if they have some in stock or are the type of LCS that doesn't have clients for platinum).

When it comes to PM,S physical in hand
is much better then futures though it
is a different way to invest other then
BTC I try and keep everything in hand.

I think platinum is being artificially held down price wise, right now its a better deal then gold in my opinion.
With Platinum its a better deal by the once. investment wise if you can afford to buy it by ten once bars your going to get the best deal often below spot.

So who would be the best platinum dealers? Thinking about one-ounce eagles. Best price? Best service?

Going with a reputable dealer is key, i recommend JM Bullion as they are one
of the top their companies along with
    liberty along Amex.
