Everything that I read in the thread. 1. Bait and switch. 2.Not being truthful.
3. High pressure. 4. Repeated nuisance calls.
All I did was state an opinion. I didn't attack any individual in the thread.
But you resorted to a personal attack.
I don't know anything about this bug you have about California. I visited there twice in the 1970's and I didn't care for it.

 

Bait and switch is only if a company sells one thing and sends another. Using one thing to get someone in the door or on the phone and trying to upsell them is common now a days. As long as they send what they advertised there's no switch occurring.

 

C'mon, why do you want to say that? Should I say something bad about the state you live in? I am originally from KY but have lived in CA since 1978.

I mistakenly referred to these guys as "kind of a scam" meaning it is more of a bait and switch, and not even that. They make money by getting people to buy more expensive products. Look up what the Chamber of Commerce has to say about them. I would say they are reputable, but slick, so you have to be slicker.

I did not mean it to be a personal attack.
Many months ago, while listening to the radio, I heard someone accuse another of being "a citizen of the Socialist Republic of California." I laughed out loud when I heard it. Funny.
In the message thread some posters' seemed to infer we should not do business w/
Nationwide because others may not be able to fend off the sales pressure and may not be able to get erroneous charges removed from their CCs.

My guess is you reside in a state that most relies on federal tax dollars. Yet, you criticize the states, like California, that actually pay more in taxes than they receive in federal spending.

When our disability checks arrive we are moving to NYC because they have a more "liberal" housing allowance and food stamp allowance.
Do you know of a charity that helps social service folks get a moving allowance?
