No! The people who should feel smarter are those who bought bags of the Prez dollars, searched them for high grade 68's & 69's, submitted them for grading, put the 68's & 69's on eBay and got the purchase price of the bag back from the sale of just one of the high grades.

Can't you just put them on ebay with the word Unsearched or Possible Silver in the title?

 

so i must be a genius for buying silver when it was $8-9/OZ. it's all a matter of when you got into it. some people got into buying precious metals back when it was cheap to get. so feeling smart has nothing to do with it at all. it's just timing

 

Me, too, except that I bought more than 500 ozs. in silver medals when it was under $6.

I know that. you have to ride the ups and downs and not get all shrill and whiny when it dips. just buy more so your average cost goes down

 

I don't think $27.50 is a good deal at all for a $1 face. Melt for $1 face is under $17 right now.

 

I'm holding until the price of silver goes to $1,000/oz. Then I'll be very happy for the person who inherited my stash.
