What say you....real or no deal?

Yeah, so you think it's the real deal with the info I gave? It's a little smaller in diameter compared to a silver eagle I have...

Not all silver rounds are the same diameter...

    Probably real.
Do the basic checks as you should do on all purchases (preferably before you buy)
I have something similar in 1/4 ounce.

You can always give it 'ring' test to 'hear' if it sounds like Ag!

Yes, it's probably a real 1 ounce silver round. Would I buy it with the current prices of silver? No, but it's your money and your choice! good luck! ;)

Start by weighing it. 31.1 grams is perfect, 31.2 is acceptable. Anything else is questionable.

If you buy it, only buy it from a reputable dealer. At the price of silver, I sure would not risk buying unverifiable product given the imports from China without a refund policy behind me.

Generally, its worth paying a few bucks more to ensure you own real PM. Those who try to get the cheapest deals usually end up with a pile of fakes IMHO.

What would that tell you if you do not measure sg? I can give you a good deal on 31.1 grams of tin....

Absolutely true, and right now look at the price of ASE's. Right around $38-$40, too much, too much of a gamble for me! :D

That'd be a big 'ol round.

Speaking of 'imports' from China (AKA counterfeits), I read an article from coinforum.com about counterfeits and on line sales today.
