this sales tax issue for me in NJ has become a real pain in the @&&. So much so that I have not bought on line for the past 60 days, as i am a bitter cheap bastard who hates to pay taxes after i have already paid income, property, and one day more taxes on a 401k account. ahhhh any who...........
i buy from here once in a while https://www.jmbullion.com/
I have experienced no issues with Apmex over the years.
I've also been meaning to buy some poured silver from Beaver Bullion.
If you're only interested in bullion, personally Provident has been the best bet.
To get the best price per item, you need to at least spend $99 to get free shipping. Also, they have random deals on "Any QTY" orders.
Back around the xmas time-frame, they had any qty of eagles for $16.80. Other sites might have had a bit cheaper but when you factor in shipping, you were paying more per coin.
Provident occasionally send out a coupon code for $5-10 off any order over $100; brings the bullion cost down low!
Move to my state (New Hampshire).
No thanks. I'll stay in PA, no sales tax on food, clothes or coins.
We have a rooms and meals tax, but otherwise no sales tax. And no general personal income tax either, for the moment.
I have used Provident, Apmex, JM Bullion and SD Bullion and have found all are excellent providers with very fast delivery. Of the 4 SD Bullion is usually a bit cheaper on many items. The important factor is I trust them all!
