I pretty much use cash for any purchases I make. I get lots of change which of course I always look through! Haven't found anything silvery in a while, but all of a sudden a bunch of older Lincolns and a Canadian cent in the past few days!
That half gallon milk jug weighs probably 20 pounds or more. Maybe I should do a guess the dollar amount post!
It looks like it to me from that photo. Die Crack Errors: Instead of a piece of metal breaking away from a die completely, this error results when a die simply splits (or cracks). Instead of a “blob” of metal, these will show as a raised line on the coin.
I usually coin dump at the coin star machine and just get a no fee Amazon credit! But maybe I can talk my four daughters into counting them out, my eyes aren't so good anymore!
Yes, but my girls really enjoy sorting through coins and I enjoy watching them finding something special! Last time we went through a box of half dollars everyone found at least one silver (40%), and my youngest daughter had one she set aside for some reason, it was a '64 Kennedy!
Coins from the 60's!! Wow, I feel old now. BTW: I don't see a die crack on the '72. Just some staining.
You’re on a hot streak with older cents. Here’s a thread dedicated to Pocket Change finds here at CT - https://www.cointalk.com/threads/pocket-change-finds-post-your-results.354280/
