Odd size silver round - circa 1973 (3 oz)

Picked this up recently and im curious if anyone has seen one of these before?
Such an odd size round, i dont believe ive ever seen a 3 ouncer before. Have you? Does anyone know anything about this particular round ? Any premium for this? I mean It IS 45 years old... Any info would be appreciated. Thanks [/ATTACH]

The plot thickens-
I actually just did a google search and there is a 1oz version of this coin listed in the NGC world coin price guide (what the ??) I wasnt aware they listed private mint rounds in the krause catalog. Very strange indeed

The prices for the 1 oz version are pretty high, (3 times melt) So this is getting curiouser and curiouser

According to the catalog- its value is
XF-135 UNC-150 BU-175
Seems kinda high but , im sure noone would pay THAT much for it anyway.
That eases my mind that its real and that the date was correct too. Thanks

Yeah, I've got a couple of them. The one below is 2.2 ounces and was struck by MACO.

There is a 1 ounce,2 ounce,and 3 ounce that I know of.
Premium?
Well its worth what you can get out of it like most everything else, But one sold on the bay fetching $30 an ounce.
