I agree with that. In past years, I was able to buy a few Coca-Cola silver art bars for between $2 to $4 over spot at various coin shows that I went to. I still have those Coca-Cola bars because I love collecting them but I see those same Coca-Cola silver silver art bars sell for between $10-$30 for most of them. Some of the very rare Coca-Cola silver art bars sell for more than $100 on ebay. Even after the couple of smackdowns that spot silver had in May and in late September, the premiums on most of the Coca-Cola bars are holding up very well on ebay based on what I have seen.
LOL, poor gboulton! For the record I got your joke and laughed when i saw it!! I have about 8 1oz bars that I bought when I first started my still very small stack, but later decided to go with rounds. I've decided I want to sell the bars so I can buy back in at some point soon for rounds. Wish I would have made this decision a couple weeks ago. Do you think I have enough room left in the dip to do this without getting burned? It's really just a personal preference thing and I don't mind paying a little for the priviledge. My stack is still pretty small though and I don't know if it is worth throwing off my DCA on the premiums.
I picked up an Israeli commem. today that is about the same silver as a silver dollar. All I can afford is about an ounce every 2 weeks but I am still stacking.
Goodness vacation? Aren't you mourning Kim Jong Il? OK, good call on the silver. Since I can't give you a cigar here is a Tiparillo video for you. (From the days when the lady would be tipped with real silver)
I tell people everyday the sun will rise in the east, I never get any credit though.. You guessed a prediction with pretty much a 50% chance of getting it right.. not that impressive, just like most predictions.
