U.S. nonfarm payrolls fall by 54,000 in August
Private job gains total 67,000; unemployment rate hits 9.6% -- from MarketWatch.com 9/3/10

Reports look better than forecasted so this might help end this week up for markets. Maybe PMs will remain about level.

    CURRENTLY:

    Silver: $19.59
    Platinum: $1559
    Palladium: $529

It better hold! I'm so tired of slightly decent news and then PM's drop as if the fire has been put out.... =)

equities markets are up after the jobs numbers earlier, dow is up about 53 points, but it's a slow trading day. PMs still seem to be holding level(ish) but we are probably not going to see $20 this week for silver like Elaine suggested a few days ago, no big surprize there!

    CURRENTLY:

    GOLD: $1,244.90
    Silver: $19.63
    Platinum: $1553
    Palladium: $527

Will we even see $20 by december 31st, 2010??

There's no guarantee at all just because it seems so long from now....

Elaine thought $20 was just around the corner for the whole last year... what's four more months?

An eternal optimist perhaps, but unable to admit down days as she never reports dips, so she's not much of a buyer, I suppose.

Today might be the day for Elaine's new thread on the next PM price point... or not. Let's see...

Maybe going forward you can combine both price levels you are after for silver and gold into one thread.

I think one thread would be suffice. So I can just concentrate on it and not have to flip back and forth....

But problem is, gold hasn't hit $1350....so it's lagging behind......and who knows when that will be.....
