Looks nicer unjumbled. Silver and gold have fallen back a touch since earlier. CURRENTLY: GOLD: $1,235.30-- High so far today $1,243.40/oz. Silver: $19.06 -- High so far today $19.37/oz. Platinum: $1537 Palladium: $504
krispy. should we said goodbye to silver below $20.00 by next week?. no more $19's. nor more $18's. no more $17's. no more $16's. krispy. rah rah rah.
silver is up 12.4% since last december 31,2009. gold is up 13.9%. but if gold go up and close $1,300.00 this year as many analyst predicted. that's including me. then gold is up 19.5%.
About one hour left in US commodities market trading for the week, this last Friday of the month. Next week is a new week, let's see equities tease a rebound in the new month, but not by much, until after the nearing US holiday while traders continue to vacation and play... with another PM pullback and stalled prices to come, we know Elaine will disappear, leaving her threads to sulk and cry alone, boo-hoo-hoo! But don't stay away too long dear Elaine, because you leave a lot of people wanting to sell their PMs at higher ranges as your wild predictions give them hopes... one day it "could" pass $20 but let's see how far off your predictions really are from timely reality. CURRENTLY: GOLD: $1,239.30-- High so far today $1,243.40/oz. Silver: $19.11 -- High so far today $19.37/oz. Platinum: $1539 Palladium: $509
palladium is the winner. it went up 28.2% since december 31,2009. followed by gold 13.9%, silver 12.4% and lastly platinum 4.7%.
You're an analyst??? Where do you work? Who do you write for? I thought you were just a cheer-leading, material girl pop-star in disguise of a modern bullion coin collector.
I wouldn't buy palladium unless the US Mint started making them in Eagles or UHR designs: American Palladium Eagle Coins Recommended from CoinNews.net 8/10/2010
i am still engage in buying gold. my plan is to buy margaret taylor, abigail fillmore and jane pierce. but drop the buchanan's liberty and mary lincoln. as for silver. bought some this year as sample. i am still interesting in chinese panda and british britannia. plan to buy 600 panda and 200 britannia. there were no other silver mint products for this year that i like. that's why i shift to foreign silver bullion coins. krispy dear. i need your comment on these.
good choice to buy silver this year except for the usual high prices we see britannia's sell for. Further comment all depends on what your price over spot works out to be if and when you acquire those 800 oz of silver this year: how long do you want to hold them, what's your intended use for them (investment/collection), what's the price you expect to sell at... can't say a thing without know your reasoning. I would avoid the the over priced gold FS coins unless you buy as a collector only.
i don't buy palladium and platinum coins. because there's never been a coin before using palladium and platinum. well. i might buy a platinum watch. but not a coin.
well. as for FS gold. i might buy 1 or 2 each only. as an investment and collection. as for silver. i quote it from apmex. 200 britannia at $24.99 each. 600 panda at $26.12 each. for britannia. prices don't fluctuate. for panda. i am waiting to buy at least below $25.00. i bought 100 at $25.07 last month.
but this is a bullion investing forum, you said "palladium is the winner. it went up 28.2% since december 31,2009." if palladium is the winner, why aren't you in it? shouldn't matter whether it was once a circulation coin or not and the Canadian palladium Maple IS actually a coin worth $50 face denomination. It could be used in circulation.
because i am also a collector. i don't like palladium and platinum. period. i try to scan one silver bullion coin which was damaged due to airtite holder. the scan is successful. i have it in my computer's document and picture area. but i did not know how to transfer it to this thread.
thanks krispy dear. but i forgot what i did again. may try again soon. anyway love and kiss.........for you only.
