What is the deal with kitco showing that the low for today was $16.67? Was that real or did it happen so fast that the charts didn't even catch it?

Interesting... Now Kitco is showing that today's low was only $17.92.

Yes, they must have made a correction due to some sort of systems error earlier.

Krispy, just curious how your experience went with Provident.

I'm really liking the selection and pricing of their foreign 1oz coins. Please let me know.

I was extremely pleased! They shipped my order very quickly and it was well packed*. Delivered four days from date of order, insured w/ signature confirmation. They have recently run out of some products and are slow to build that inventory back up but I would definitely buy from them again with their competitive prices, quick shipping and ability to track my parcel enroute. Thumbs up for Provident Metals.

    * Where as Apmex ships in paper tape sealed corrugated boxes with excessive bubble wrap padding and each coin in a flip, Provident shipped in a paper bubble lined envelope with a smaller one nested inside, each coin in a flip and secure from moving around. Perhaps a bit less secure than a box, but the lighter packing equates to less shipping costs I believe.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I actually tried to place an order with them last night for a couple hundred bucks but had some issues with the cvv of my card not working. I think I'm going to call them in the am and see what is the fastest way to pay without the cc charge.

I've read some other CT members say that Provident are very customer service friendly and will work hard to make things right if you have problems with the ordering process or their site. I suggest giving them a call. Let us know how it turns out.

100% positive, the card is good thru 6/10 and I've not gotten a new one, but who knows what is up with my bank. If you're taking a shot at my account balance, if I couldn't afford it I wouldn't even look, as I'm not a big shot like some on here. (not taking a shot at you with that)
