Next step silver - over $20.00

The gold price is down something like 15% from the high. This isn't significant or unusual for gold in any way. Like every other asset moving up, the speculators jump in and jump out trying to catch the swings, but making them wider by their actions at the same time.

Yes it does get quite. That's part of my point in posting the current market ask prices during the dips in PM bugs threads that otherwise imbalanced in only cheering along the rise or next level of this or that. PMs go up and they go down, these percentages aren't much to cheer about. Most PMs are pretty high YTD, this isn't much of a dip but just the nature of these commodities.

 

Yeah I agree, it does get quiet in here when prices dip. But that's the nature of the beast and if you're going to be in this market, you have to understand that risk.

I still have a lot to learn but it's been very fun so far....

Guess I should have waited before pulling the trigger on pre-ordering a roll of 2010 ASE's. Oh well, win some, lose some..... At any rate, I'll be holding 'em for awhile.

 

silver high $19.50, low $15.99, down 17.8%

gold high $1,227.20, low $1,072.40, down 12.5%

 

GREEN 18 I dont think you made a mistake depending what ur intentions are silver will go up & down so you can dump them on the up or keep them for the long haul? Either way u have them!

 

Indeed, just wish I would o' bought 'em this week instead of three weeks ago. Could of saved $40.........

 

I might be the only one cheering for the price to go down. Why not, best time to buy. I'm an investor, not a speculative trader. Hurray for cheaper silver for the common man!

 

I agree surfer! Let it go down to $6 an oz i will buy a couple hundred pounds and sell it when it goes back up to $20 or more??

question is how do you keep so much silver safe before you can reap the fruit.

 

I have a safe thats hiden in my house, i work odd hours at times, i dont talk about what i have to very many ppl those i do can be trusted, lastly i have guns and know how to shoot them VERY WELL!

 

it is not that silver has gone down that much but the dollar has got stronger
will that last. anybodys guess
me i hope silver goes up then i can sell

Personally, I didn't like the $18.60 price. Too expensive to buy, and not expensive enough to actually make a profit yet. Kinda the blah price. Lower means it's time to buy.

 

Currently: Silver @ $15.52/oz.

 

Jeez!! I honestly think this is a buying opportunity for anyone that has some cash....what a bargain...
