Sorry Cloud, but your wrong about my "imagination" in regards to my interpretation of your post. Its good to have your personal reinforcement of your position, as is commonly found in your posts, however posting for the benefit of another member based on their inquiry to be wary of the advice of others through your own 'emotionless' admonition, is making a comment about others' replies without giving your own answer to his question(s). Fret's not new to these forums, perhaps he is to you if you haven't seen him around CT or in the bullion threads as frequently as others that come here to post thoughts and information. Fret was soliciting opinions not asking what he personally should do with advice from others per your assumption of his intent. He asked: "would you say it's best to buy gold right now or sell?" "if someone does buy gold today do you think they can still make a profit?" "do you think gold is gonna go higher like to $1500?" Seems his little bundle of questions in regards to gold can all be answered with one word each: Buy/Sell, Yes/No, and Yes/No. Certainly, a caveat to those answers could be included since it's not always so black and white of an issue, but you didn't offer any opinions per his inquiry. Instead you cautioned him on the replies from others as if he wouldn't already know to do that himself. Had he asked should I trust the replies to my inquries I get on forums or the advice on stocks and PMs my barber gives me, perhaps then your reply would have been on point. Funny that you excused your grading abilities on Fret's coin and yet gave that a go... but you didn't do the same with offering your opinions about the direction of gold per his inquiry. I for one gave him no advice on PMs, as I also believe what you say about the advice of others and I fully agree that no one can assuredly tell us the direction PMs will take. In my own reply to Fret, I suggested he take his coin to the coin forums for more varied and on topic replies in the assessment of his gold coin because that portion of the question(s) was out of place here.
