there is not much effect on the fluctuation of gold and silver bullion prices for me. my collections were totally fixed prices. bullion gold up $1.00. my total gold collections up $1.32. bullion silver up $0.01. my total silver collections up $8.88. the only affects me is when the collection items changes its price. example like the AGE proof downed 30% from its high recently.

so the stock market investment is really the one affects me.

    Whoa! Funny (not funny) stuff!

I guess he can't blame it on an over polished or worn die state. :high5:

I wonder if the Euro will go away? And if it does, will that end all the conspiracy rumors of the Amero? Seeing that the Euro didn't work?

Germany seems to have a lot of success with Regional Currency

There's a lot of this kind of thing going on all over the place. Lots of alternative forms of currency for trade locally in use like: Ithaca Hours, BerkShares, Baroon Dollar... it's certainly not a new concept but one that seems to go very well with the green/eco/sustainable/DIY/cottage-industry type of communities and individuals.

elaine you could be right when you look at the recent rally of dollar or the weaknes of the euro and now with china telling its bankers to hold more in reserve.
If you look at the euro spot price which is at 804.68 euros and use the past exchange rate of $1.45 to the euro. Gold would be well over the $1100 mark marter of fact it would be $1166.
What a difference ten cents make.

    Just read the article......so......

At some point though you HAVE to sell your gold don't you? Unless you plan on passing it down to your kids, then what's the point? I understand the concept of selling your gold if you need to buy something else, which makes sense.

Towards the end of the article he says the bull run on gold will end when everyone's tired of wall street and starts buying gold...

If no one ever sold their gold there would be no market and it wouldn't be useful as a store of value. Something else would then replace gold. Your warehouse would just become a dusty nuisance.
