Hopefully gold will make its way back up to $1200....

I just read an article that Illinois is bankrupt. $5 billion in debt. Cali as we know is ready to default and getting ready to issue another year of IOU's to the tax payers. NY isn't far behind. Pennsylvania doesn't look good...

Tax season should look pretty awful for most states as they won't be collecting revenue much from tax payers.

Well if they do, they better pay me 10x the value.

If they want to confiscate my gold, I am going to price gouge it.....

Let's not forget silver too. It's due....I think?

Copper was in the news today as well, but I don't really want a room full of copper....if you think storing and carrying around silver was bad!!!!

Maybe something to do with that dip from this mention on Market Watch in an article on Metals Stocks: "The China Banking Regulatory Commission has asked several commercial banks to stop issuing new loans for the rest of January, the state-run China Securities Journal reported, citing several sources." full article

Dollar seems to be pretty strong right now. 78.3 on the index.

This is pure BS.....no wonder we're printing like there's no tomorrow, it doesn't matter, our dollar is strong always! LOL....

People underestimate the power and sophistication of the Federal Reserve.

Ha! You noticed! I just have a hard time getting over it. Like the USD is anti-gravity and going against the forces of nature.

Don't get me wrong though, I'd rather have a strong dollar so I don't have to pay $10-$20 bucks for a loaf of bread....

Things are bad, but they aren't nearly as bad as many internet gurus with little or no training would have you believe. Keep in mind that there is a bad news industry out there making money by scaring people. Don't expect them to ever say that things are improving or that everything will work out.

That's an awesome point. I have been keeping this in mind.....far back in my mind though. ;)

I'll have to inch it a little closer to the front now....
