dont expect anything crazy u need gold to break 1250 for any action. good support @ 1000 and 1100.

gold price intraday of course is going to move all over ---a +5/-5 flux means zero.

anyone noticing how palladium has been swinging like gold dollar wise but percentage wise it's been alot more? when it's dropped from 470+ to 440+.... man I wish I had 100k to drop into it at 440 and then sell at 470 and then just repeat at 440...

Edit added: looking at apmex.com in the 90 day screen for palladium...there has been alot of chances to make a big pile of money if only you had the money...

The problem, of course, is that you lose a few % on each buy sell of physical bullion, effectively wiping out any gain. ETFs might be a thought, but personally I like to hold my bullion in my own two greedy little hands.

If you're going to try trading on a weekly or even monthly basis, ETF's is probably the way to go.....b/c selling and buying physical would be pain!!!

That makes sense to trade with a gold or silver ETF because the bid/ask spread will take a big bite out of any profit from a person that is selling physical gold and silver.
