I used to play soccer as a kid. It wasn't a popular sport in the US like it is now. I got my first place tournament trophy and was very pleased. That's enough golden soccer fun for me. I've collected US coins for many years and I am learning more and more about collectible US currency too. I invest in stocks and physical bullion, my goal is to acquire more and learn new strategies in regards to investing, particularly in PMs, which is what I am here to discuss and share ideas about. "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!!"
you did not answer my question. who will win tomorrow?. u.s.a. or ghana?. see. i knew you got a lot of gold and silver. even stocks investment. well. i plan to sell some of my stock holding. and accumulate some 100 pc of unc first spouse margaret taylor. just a plan. what you think krispy dear?. just a gamble. give me your true and kind advise. i will listen to you baby.
I'm really not watching world cup so I don't know the rankings and skills of the coaches and players, however a pure guess from me would be, usa over ghana. Wow! 100 unc FS coins! You and Yakpoo will have the largest harem around! I hope your gamble works out for you and that by the time you get all those coins you will post a photo of all of them together in one image. that would be amazing to see. for me, no FS coins. i don't play the numismatic low mintage game and this is a bullion forum anyway, not a numismatic discussion. you are buying for collector premium potential in the future, not bullion investment. Still, it is wise to buy coins with an intrinsic bullion value, IMO.
thanks krispy dear. now. forget the first spouse and camera. what would you recommend?. stay at stocks. buy bullion gold like AGE and AGB unc. or buy silver ASE bullion. well. no more for modern commemorative. and i don't collect classic one too. what is your advise now dear.
oh i hate currency and stamps. currency always have a large denomination to begin with. and very few people collect it. while stamps is becoming not popular here in u.s.. instead it is very popular in east asia. both hobby. i discontinue it.
I will never forget the camera or that you don't show us your collectible coins that you claim to have so many pieces. Advice: I say go with something like 75% silver and 25% gold this year based on one's overall 2010 physical bullion investment amount. ASEs are great. Buy them in quantity for lower price per unit if at all possible. Anything under, at or close to $20 is a great price, even under $25 is good for long term holding. AGE and AGB unc are great if that's in your budget too. Fractional AGE are good, but not 1/10th oz. unless you buy them by the tube. Terrible premiums from dealers if you buy too few 1/10th pieces per transaction. I can't buy a tube of anything all at once so I avoid the 1/10th oz. Other government issued bullion is good too if you like a certain design better or live in that country and buying other nations bullion is too pricey for you. Govt. issued bullion is easiest to liquidate.
For me currency is about collecting older issues, but currency is very expensive too. i do it for fun. I do not trade currency in an investment sense. I'm not so good at that. I like bullion topics and investing.
Well I did it. I sold some gold today to APMEX. And I can say, the process was very smooth. Well, at least so far, until they get it and I get my check. They paid $20 over spot today. I tried to give my local jewelry dealer a chance to buy off me until he tried to rip me off in which I walked out. I'm a believer in providing support for local businesses, but not when they aren't fair back to the customers.
+1 I think she is cute also. Beautiful women and gold talk seem to go together very well. Of course this is just my opinion. :smile
Platinum It is worth owning some platinum and palladium. They are wonderful industrial metals. Plus, platinum is 15 times rarer than gold. Only problem is spread are much bigger. It's hard to sell it at spot, even if you have eagles.
Thanks. Well someone posted earlier today I think about gold going up 10% - 15% within a month or so. So let's see what happens. I've been pretty happy with the way metals have been holding up. Have not sold silver yet, so still holding......
She likes platinum and stocks better than gold anymore anyway, well maybe she likes women's portraits on half ounce gold still, but little else it seems.
