Seems like a decent offering from the mint. I don't say that very often anymore.
We discussed here, although the thread went off-topic. The consensus was that, although attractive, there was not much interest in paying the issue price, as these offerings usually drop in the secondary market. I do like both designs, the dollar and the medal, but I am not a buyer.
I am definitely a buyer think about it when was the last time the u s mint every only made ten thousand of something. Can’t remember in fact I believe this is the lowest mintage ever offered on a coin and even though it is listed as a medal maybe not right away but I think due to the lowest mintage of a 99.9 percent silver coin/medal it will be in demand. Don’t hit yourself over the head six months or a year from now and say why didn’t I get it and look at it this way you have 2 ounce coins that are pure silver buy it!
