New turtle arrived today

    I do like a good turtle coin. This one has a pretty cool reverse. Check it out...and post your turtles or ninjas....


    ISLANDS off ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 350-338 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18mm, 5.23 g 2). Tortoise seen from above. Rev. Incuse square divided into five compartments; A-IΓI in upper two, dolphin in lower left section. Milbank Pl. III, 5. SNG Delepierre 1548-9. Very fine.

    Interesting coin. Nice example. Now you need an older sea turtle in the same condition and then your golden.

    Someone needs to buy four turtles and name them Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo, and Donatello. If you had kids in the 90's, you know what I'm talking about.
