I went to the pawn shop to take pictures of it there lighting sucks and couldn't get a good shot at the back side
I know it's about half of an inch wide and it's hard to make it out it has what looks like the back of a dinosaur that's just from looking at it they want 39 dollars for it need to know if it's worth buying
We can't get you a good ID without adequate photos, from what I could make out, it looks more Greek than Roman. Try bringing a mini flashlight, and take photos of both sides.
Definitely don't go around buying stuff if you have no idea what it is. That coin is in terrible condition and the price is pretty hefty. Roman bronze coins can usually be found for around $5 each. Unless there is something special about that tiny coin that is hidden by those poor pictures, $39 is wayyyyy too much. I'd pass.
I boosted the contrast: It is not a $39 coin. It does not depict a Roman Thanksgiving turkey drawn around Augustus Caesar's hand.
If you're willing to spend 39 dollars on a ancient coin, you'd have much better luck buying a identified, higher quality one from Vcoins or Ebay, preferably the former.
Yeah, none of these coins stand out to me, all culls, spend your money on some identifiable higher quality ancients online.
First coin is probably Greek; several cities in Asia Minor made extremely small bronze coins. That said, all three are culls; probably impossible to identify and thus worthless. Put into perspective, $39 will buy a nearly mint state late Roman bronze, or a decent quality denarius of one of the more common emperors.
Just as a point of reference, something more along the lines of the coins in this thread is what $39 ought to buy you in the Wonderful World of Ancients: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/what-your-budget-buys-30-edition.302412/
