Ordinarily, I wouldn't respond to the OP's BS threads, but I feel I should caution you. Wait until there comes a time when you disagree with one of his outlandish theories. You can post all of the proof you want and all the OP will do is come up with some demeaning rhetoric about you, and instead of giving you a logical answer, he will simply change the subject.

I quit answering his direct challenges toward me because of all of his BS. Believe it or not, if you go back and reread one of his earliest threads, you will actually find that I defended him, but as soon as I disagreed with him on an issue, he attacked me in the same fashion that he has used against everyone else who has challenged his useless theories.

I won't bother responding to his ridiculous comments which I expect to be forthcoming. It may take him some time for him to come up with, what he imagines to be, a good response. - Provocative comment deleted -

Excellent sage advice! I’ve been following this and Chris is 110% correct. Unfortunately we must be patient with the inpatients of others. And know when it’s time to cut ties. This is your hobby it shouldn’t be frustrating for you. Spend all that time not arguing and look at coins—much more fun!

Double posts happen every once in a while. Don't sweat it! Look at the bright side. Maybe someone with a short memory span will read the first post.:)

Neophobia is the fear of anything new, especially a persistent and abnormal fear. In its milder form, it can manifest as the unwillingness to try new things or break from routine
I guess it would be no different than drinking one a your mixed drinks.
You know Chris I hear you doing a lot of talking, not a very constructive criticism.
And most of the evidence you provide to backup your theories, has so many holes in it it would never float.
Like I said before Chris prove what I'm saying is wrong or incorrect, and our recant what I'm saying.
And I find when somebody does not responds is because they can't back up what they're going to say or they're not as smart as a pretend themselves to be.

And for some reason you Chris Larry and some others can accept the fact that they I don't think the way you think. Plain and simple
and that upset you guys to know in you do a lot of trash talking but you don't do any backing up that trash talk.
And what I've seen especially from you Chris you can't stand it when somebody says hey take another look don't believe in what this man saying constructive criticism which your very good a given out at you suck at taking.
You know what they say if you can dish it out you damn well should be able to take it.

But all I'm hearing from you others is crying boo-hoo.
I know what you think now prove what I'm saying is wrong or just shut up.

USMC60, and all others involved. This forum is not to allow this type of interaction between members who do not agree on interpretation of any photo, theory, or pull out of your rear-end hypothesis. No ONE, repeat sir, NO ONE, has to answer any challenge, especially a rather hostile one, and need not defend any lack of answering. It easy to get pull into long threads that do not allow any definitive conclusion.

Yes, I understand you like rim burrs. That is fine, I personally feel it is unimportant, but that is your study, so good luck. Some people like coins with holes in them , or stains that appear as a religious scene, some like coins that nature has colored, etc. But all have to accept not every one does.

If a member asks a question , he/she should expect all types of answers. ANYONE who feels they do not want to answer , doesn't have to. If they do answer they too may be challenged and the same goes for them.

Getting personal and tough may be ones actions in real life, but it is not to be accepted here. I hope I am clear to EVERYONE!

So all stop being Hostile. Last Time

ZEKE spectrometry has been used on biological/ionic/molecular substances, but coins made of metal are not those, they are metallic bonded structures and I do not see the relationship as used here. Jim

All I know is that zeke looks cool to me on coins.
's and may not be intended for coins but I think it works quite well with coins.
    That's just an old Marine's opinion. USMC60

That's OK, I thought you were using the filter to demonstrate something specific about the edge, that the filter showed. Jim

Yes I was using the filter to demonstrate what shows up that you cannot see From a ordinary photo. There's some very good examples already displayed in some of the threads. I personally am learning more and more each day that I use These filters how to interpret what they are showing me.

Believe me if I had the money I would take some of these coins in and get them x-rayed. This old Marine wants to know what's actually going on inside the metal.

I believe the filter I'm using is a poor man's x-ray. And I'm taking the time to learn how to read those x-rays.
I believe they call it learning something new, and the only way I know how to do that sometimes is to actually do it.

And let me set the record straight as far as rim burrs are concerned if I may.
I keep Some rim burrs for educational purposes only that would also include oddity rim burrs. And of course the rim burrs that hide or conceal cuds.
Since there's really not that much information on this particular and Insignificant Rim burrs. I think it would be nice and that's why I'm doing it to have a starting place. USMC60

We have a little setback here but were going to keep moving on.
Here is another coin, what it is I have no answer, what classification I have no answer.I have basically been put under a gag order. 2000-D-5.jpg So I will leave this to the members that will tell you what you should think, and the members that will tell you the truth about what this is. @usmc60 it to bad this coin is so circulated. That coin would have been even nicer to look at as a nice AU. I must insist you find nicer coins! Lol. Really though I kinda am interest in this coin I look forward to see how this one progresses.
