    No mint mark for plain.

    wasn't really concerned about the mintage, mint mark or the condition bought
    it based solely on the year 1923, 5 or one million, though I suspect if there was only 5 made, that the price would have been a little higher...LOL

    BB21 is correct....Philadelphia is considered to be The Mint....the others are considered branch mints.

    Plentiful numbers of bullion substitutes for Saints that sell for close to the price of gold.

    Just go low enough in grade (generally MS63 or 62) and remember you are getting 3.25% less than 1 ounce of gold.

    I would bet it wouldn't CAC, but it's a better date in good condition. Enjoy!

    As already established bought the coin
    because of my fathers birthday ( 1923 )
    condition or grade was not a factor.
