My first elongated cent was in the mid to late 70's and got mashed in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.

I have a elongated coin collection the Buffalo one I gifted to Ron Pope Mr. Buffalo nickel himself ,I was glad I did as Ron like anything Buffalo..and this specimen came from the expo in Buffalo NY. Ron passed a few months later... I also found another on that was uncirulated and red not brown as this one. The next is from Philadelphia another expo piece. These are a lot of fun to collect. I have lots of them. When I go somewhere that has a machine, I start rolling one of each. :)

Yes, no more full sets available, since all of the Type 2 (Merc dimes) are gone now.

Those aren't the key- the Type 4 cent is- but they ARE the item that is sold out now. So not even I could put together a full set now, without those.
