Some collectors enjoy it as part of the hobby experience. I will say from flying for instance that private pilots spend as much time or more planning the flight as flying. The same sense applies to astronomy. You don&#039;t just run outside and look around with your telescope. And just like pilots, many amateur astronomers keep log books. There are several competing software systems for numismatic inventory, usually supported with buy-sell and market data as well as the images.
