That's too bad. Provident was getting rid of their 2014 and 2013 Canada 1.5 oz silver Arctic Fox and Polar Bear coins for only 99 cents an ounce over spot, or $1.50 per coin. It was a pretty incredible deal when you consider you'd need silver to rise to only about $15.60 an ounce in to get your money back selling to a coin shop. I was about 90% sure I was going to buy a roll of one or the other tonight, get home, and, boom!, they're sold out. Oh well. Perhaps my money will be better spent getting a roll of Maples or Eagles if one of the big dealers does $1 over spot each before the end of the year. Sigh...
They're back up. But now I'm hesitant to buy. The premium is very low. But how many dealers want these if I go to sell? Will I get anything better than spot? In 20 years I bet not.
