That's too bad. Provident was getting rid of their 2014 and 2013 Canada 1.5 oz silver Arctic Fox and Polar Bear coins for only 99 cents an ounce over spot, or $1.50 per coin. It was a pretty incredible deal when you consider you'd need silver to rise to only about $15.60 an ounce in to get your money back selling to a coin shop. I was about 90% sure I was going to buy a roll of one or the other tonight, get home, and, boom!, they're sold out.

Oh well. Perhaps my money will be better spent getting a roll of Maples or Eagles if one of the big dealers does $1 over spot each before the end of the year.

They're back up. But now I'm hesitant to buy. The premium is very low. But how many dealers want these if I go to sell? Will I get anything better than spot? In 20 years I bet not.
