Fun thread. One of the best I have seen.

 

Thanks everyone for the kind words - I (for the most part) had a lot of fun with this thread. As promised, I am keeping you guys updated as this item goes through the NGC process. The good news - as of this evening, it's finished with NCS, has been confirmed as the Type 2 (Thick Planchet), and is scheduled for grading.

So...updates in a few weeks? lol...

 

What was Paul's prize?

 

It was the 1928 s/s SLQ. Waiting on him to give me the go ahead to ship.

Grading/Quality Control

 

Grades have officially posted after sitting in Quality Control for a week. Now, since it did go to NCS before being graded, I don't think a GTG will be all that fair until it gets back to me (because the images are pre-conservation) BUT - do you guys want to do a quick GTG (for fun) or just have me post the results?

Better solution: how about those who want to play in a GTG just be patient while it heads back to me, and those who just want to know RIGHT NOW TODAY THIS SECOND can PM me.

 

Wait for it to get back.
