I was at my good LCS this afternoon. Got a few 5oz Silvertowne bars for $28.15 per oz. 2013 ASE/ML $30.40 but didn't buy any as I have several of each. Picked up 2013 Koala, Kook, Antelope and whatever the latest Canadian wildlife is for $35. A few other odds and ends got me out the door. In regards to the above conversation, this LCS works on a dollar cost average. They set their premiums and stick to them. You know what you're going to get when you walk in and they figure that it will even out in the end. They move silver/gold in volume. The one owner told me during one visit that in Dec alone they moved over 3500 ozs silver and almost 400 ozs of gold. This shop is in a town of 100,000.
Yesterday I picked up some 90% @ $22 x face. There wasn't a lot but enough to help bring down my dca a bit. Asked about AGE since pog dropped $22 yesterday and again today but they said that they "didn't have any because people are buying like crazy". I might stop by there tomorrow afternoon if the pog and pos continue to be as they have been the last few days. Has anybody figured out what's behind the falling prices. I haven't just enjoying them for awhile and hoping that they don't go to $ 0.00
Like anyone would sell it if it dropped to even close to that. $6 would make me happy enough to load up
Was just going off what he said not that it would actually go to zero lol. But yeah 6 bucks for a few years would be awesome
Got another eagle today from my lcs. Still cost me 35 bucks. But it has a weird tinning on the rim of the coin, does anyone know what would cause that?
I am with you on all of that I was just making an obsevation based on what I see in my area beside one LCS. Obviously as abuyer I want to get the best price I can when I am not concerned what potention profit the seller may be losing out on.
