Going to the show. If I can get a computer, I'll send a show report.

Definitely interested in how attendance is among dealers and the public. Have you gone to this show before ?

It has been 15 years since I attended. There were about 100 tables then, but I don't know how the pandemic will affect the turnout now.

A report would be appreciated. Most of us are starved for coin show info.

The Cleveland Coin Expo has shows on the 2nd Saturday of each month. There is no show in December but they will resume in January. The venue is St. Michael's Woodside, 5025 Mill Rd., Broadview Heights, OH 44147. It's right off the I-77 Wallings Rd. exit. They usually have about 60 or so tables. I went there last Saturday. They had a decent turnout.

About the same number of dealers and attendees, pre-virus ? More ? Less ?

The Nashua NH monthly show is on for Dec 6.

Mask wearing requirements and lower room capacity limits are in place.

The coin shows I have been to have NOT had huge crowds akin to other shows like hunting, RV, and in years past, baseball card shows.

The aisles at FUN were not crowded...the monthly Parsippany, NJ show has probably more dealers in the room than from the public...and some other tiny shows don't have 10 people at the shows which is still less than tables/dealers.

I had every intention of attending Lakeland including meeting a friend from Melbourne there. But he had an unexpected business commitment. And my wife got diagnosed with Covid19 on Saturday we are quarantining in place. I would be very interested in your impressions.

On a more positive note, I attended the Zoom meeting of the John Reich Collectors Society (JRCS) which was interesting. 39 people were in attendance and the topic was a proposed study of cuds in the silver capped bust coinage.

I had previously attended a Zoom meeting of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club (LSCC) and that was also well-attended.

The Melville Long Island show had about 15 tables and was crowded the Sunday before last.

Since we canceled our annual Christmas Orlando trip, I can't attend. I've been locked down for 10 months. There's no use blowing all of that effort now.

Thanks, I will. I've been cooking for her and am about to go get some drugs for her. I am also, and this is what really shows marital dedication, feeding and cleaning up after her cats.

about the same. A few months ago the attendance was down a bit but they had a decent amount of people this time.

Here goes...I'll get the table count tomorrow. Except for the masks and temperature checks at the door, the show seems to be normal. Apparently, Set up had a lot of good comments as far as business. Today the show was crowded at the beginning and then tappered off after 2 Pm. Nevertheless, we had good submissions in the morning. I like it that way. Slammed with work and for the rest of the day no submissions and only giving opinions to the public and dealers for the rest of the day. All the dealers around me were busy with sales. One sold over 2K of raw coins to a wholesaler who does "farm sales." That's when they throw the coins into estate sales out in farming country. I was given some C/F's, Bought a hardly used Titanium golf driver for $10 and got a PCGS foreign slab that was NOT SEALED! We think the slab is a knock-off with a gold shield label. I think Friday and Saturday will be very busy. We'll see. Oh, lots of junk silver was selling.
