Next up 2009 Krugerrand, this is when
my youngest son ( Branden ) graduated
high school.

Mintage: 731,262

 

I wanted to get a graded Krugerrand
so picked up this MS 70 a couple months
back.

 

Got plenty of that to, don’t you know
variety is the spice of life

 

Not when applied to coins.

 

I disagree, having some of everything is always better the collecting just one
of something seems very boring to me

 

Just picked this one today at my LCS
2008 Krugerrand, it not one of my selected dates, but does have a fairly
low population of 256,288 compared
to the early ones in the 5-6 million
range.

 

It’s actually only 199,000

 

Just picked up the above 1979 Krugerrand today, its a common variety but does help me get closer to my goal of collecting all 1 OZ Krugers 1967 - present.
