Does anyone know the acceptable masses for Kennedy's (90 and 40%), silver Roosevelt's and silver Washingtons? I'm picking some up tomorrow off Craigslist and I want to scale test them after I mag test them.

    Thanks!

I've found the weights I'm moreso looking for the tolorences. I'm having a hard time locating that information.

I don't see the necessity of checking tolerances for any of these, assuming that they are just circulated silver coins. If you use a magnet and look at the edge, they are either silver or they are not.

The weight listed in the redbook should be their weight when the coin was new and uncirculated. The amount of circulation wear will bring that weight down. It just matters how much.
