Do I posted it here. I bought these at a rock show in in August 2017. He was asking a price of $35.00 each for each specimen or $665.00 total.
I remember asking “How much for the entire box?” I also remember his surprised look and asking if I wanted all 19 of them, to which I replied “Yes, all 19.” He grabbed his calculator and started punching numbers.
When he was finished he stated $420 for all of them. As you can see, I bought them all, for $245.00 total. I did the math and it was just over $22.00 for each specimen. $13.00 less so I bought them all.
Today they are worth more than 5 times my investment and it only took 7 years. Not a bad investment if I say so. I’m happy and I know it. Clap, Clap of my hands.
    All 19 of them.

They are all placer gold nuggets from somewhere in Nevada.

That's exactly the mindset I try to have when I've been moving a large quantity of buckets of paydirt concentrates and I've worn myself out mining all morning :p

See I am not that intelligent to do all that figuring in my head right on the spot. Every time I go to a Rock show I don't feel too good the next day and I spent 250.00 just to feel that way. Thats nice Nuts!!!

Very cool acquisition and display @Collecting Nut. I'm liking the whole package.

Have you ever added up the TGW?

I normally wouldn't ask you, or anyone what they paid, however, you were very forthcoming by offering that info, so here goes.....
Your quoted comment was confusing, to me. Did you pay $420 or $245 for all 19 specimens?
You say, 'he stated $420 for all of them'. Then you say, 'you bought them all for $245 total'.

Just curious. Again, real nice score.

My mistake and thanks for letting me know. I paid $420 for all which was a savings of $245 on his asking price. A good deal as they weigh just under an ounce total. Normally I wouldn’t state the price but it was so long ago I figured it didn’t matter.
