    Paid $265 for it.

I am real happy. I cardboard holdered them up.

However, I just ordered a gram scale for $8 off ebay so I can sell these nuggets by the gram.

    Here are some pics...

There's more but I didn't feel the need to get it all out. I think you get the point.

By the way, don't mind the weight or prices written down here, I was working on my seller handwriting and trying things out. I am sure those are not all exactly 1 g, so once the gram scale comes, I'll most certainly re-weight them.

Nothing like raw gold! I love the really big pieces of it!

I'm not sure if you know it or not but nuggets that come out of the ground aren't pure. From my experience they are usually 18k-22k when melt assayed.

Did you test the purity? Are you going to guarantee it to the buyer? Weight is only half of the story.

Are you thinking that I'm selling this?

I bought it for my collection.

You said you were going to sell these (golden boogers) by the gram, "However, I just ordered a gram scale for $8 off ebay so I can sell these nuggets by the gram."

Yeah, I am going to sell them. Not now though. Maybe if I set up one day as a dealer at a show ;)

I can see the multiple interpretations that statement has.

Read one way to more than one so far. Oh well. Thanks for clearing it up though.

If you set up one day as a dealer, it would be a good idea NOT to use terms with multiple interpretations to the buyer. Keep it clear.

BNB: here's a link to some testing kits you might consider picking up, and they're on eBay, your favorite stomping grounds ;)

Also remember that to a person that collects minerals a decently formed nugget is worth more that just melt value.

I love the one marked down from $45 to $40.
You are learning all of those dealer mind games all to well.

The poor sap thinks he is getting a deal already ...hahahaha.

Not a particularly honorable way to conduct oneself though if that was the intent.
