    it looks like the s from trust is dragged down close to the 8

    PMD is what it looks like; could be grease I saw this other post yesterday. The penny was a 199* with one letter missing. I can't find the post though so maybe someone can help me out

    Your coin has a Lamination Error between the 5 & 8 of the date.
    The top I am not sure about.
    Can you post full photo of both sides?

    This looks more like a lamination to me.

    I don’t like it’s a lam but my be wrong. The 8 looks like a die chip. And the obverse look like something hitting and pushing against the “u,s and t”. With a die crack. 4875FA72-CC62-4012-A356-564021613586.jpeg

    The 8 looks like a small die chip. The area around the US in TRUST looks like a thin detached lamination error that took a hit. The rim is damaged as are the U and the S.
