My apologies. I guess only you and Doug have fans. Hey! Maybe you need a RULE like that! :troll::kiss:

FYI .. due to a political statement being made and in the news against the Fed .. GOLD banged up slightly due to the US Dollar getting a bit slammed

Hmm. And now we all know who Charles Morgan is, right? Editor of CoinWeek. IN THAT POSITION, not a different one, on LiknkedIn he describes his JOB as a coin publication editor as, “Provide research and analysis covering American political, social, and economic history as well as the rare coin market.” Note the order, order matters. Politics FIRST. CoinWeek.

My point? Only that there’s more than one way to skin the numismatic cat.

Unlike certain posters, I have no need for "likes" , but thanks for the 'concern'. There are a lot of questions on the forum, your expertise on numismatics would be helpful to others.

And as I have said many times...If you wanted to discuss what this forum does not allow, go to

    WWW. PARTISANLINES.COM

Peter's site he made and pays for~ for the members who want to hang out with similar. Of course you won't go there as they are similar to your style...And you want an audience and there is so few members there. Your choice, maybe start a cult. :)

I think I saw that same guy last weekend drooling on the case where the gold coins were. He looked and was dressed the exact same as that dead guy. :troll:

The sweet spot is where coins and policy (not politics) INTERSECT. Keeping them segregated solves NOTHING. You, Doug, and Peter simply refuse to acknowledge truth.

Gee, Kurt.....Might you get your own site to run to your specifications ? Why depend on others who can't satisfied your needs, go for it ! Man Up! you can show all Here that you were correct! You could be the numero UNO moderator there also with millions of emoji picks. Nah, you will use the free one and complain, complain. I would even join so you could Ban me and make your year!! Jim
p.s. sincerely I hope you stay as you have knowledge of numismatics, but it is not by your rules. We all , moderators included, have to play by the same rules.

So what do you end up with? Road rash, coin porn, and GTG threads. Oh boy!

I admit from second numero uno that Peter is entitled to have it just the way he wants it. No problem. What I don’t get is why. What happened?

By the way, the Ancients forum is awesome, and I don’t even understand that part of the field.

They even have 3 forum sections ~ POLITICS, RELIGION, and WORLD EVENTS , just the things that Peter wants off of this forum, and he feels so strongly , he pays for the other. so how does any other person get off saying he is wrong??

I think I know why those subjects are not allowed here and I strongly support it! If you owned this forum and people consistently wants to run it in their favor/way, what would you do????

I hope to someday be able to understand the “why”. Not there yet. I’m not intentionally trying to be provocative. I genuinely don’t get it. Of those three topics, one is of no interest, one is of meh interest, and one annoys me actively. But POLICY (we insist politics is an entirely separate thing from policy - we even arrest people [literally, perp walk and all] for doing politics on policy time) interests me deeply.

I hadn't noticed that, but think it's pretty funny in retrospect.

Am I a car guy? Hardly . . . I haven't worked on my car since they began putting integrated circuits under the hood.

Are you having FOMO? Fear of missing out? :)

PMs are at their lowest price in a very long time and the market has been at its highest for a very long time. I'm slowly adding GLD, SLV and PPLT ETFs to my portfolio at this low price.

How do you know this is "low"? What's the definition?

To answer the question to the title of this thread, yes it is. Or at least ignore PM's. I think just growing your cash accounts is a good idea.
