I think Hot Springs will continue to hold the record as having the quickest sell-out time, not because the park is anything great by any means, but simply because it was the first coin released and no one knew really what to expect. Now that we are used to the Mint's rhythm in releasing them, I think we will see a continuation of the same sales pattern as Yellowstone and Yosemite. Although it is true Grand Canyon gets the most visitors per year, it is pretty much a "one trick pony" (sorry, i couldn't resist), in that the canyon is pretty much what you get. With Yellowstone and Yosemite, however, you get a much more multi-faceted experience, with more diverse activities and things to see.

Even though the Grand Canyon is better known than the others and has more visitors than the others annually, I think fans of the national parks would place Yellowstone and Yosemite higher up the scale in terms of places they really enjoyed. Personally, I am a fan of the national parks and am buying these coins based upon what I like about the parks themselves and for no other reason. I don't own Hot Springs because I don't really like the place; I do own Yellowstone and Yosemite; and, I don't plan on owning Grand Canyon and Mount Hood (which isn't even a national park, by the way). The only 2011 coin I have an interest in owning is Glacier, as it is the only true national park (other than Olympic) that is being released for 2011. To make a long story even longer, I am saying I feel Grand Canyon will sell no better or no worse than Yellowstone and Yosemite.
